Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2025
Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how BazarAI handles information within the app and on this website.
1. Who we are
BazarAI is a simple app to catalogue items and generate descriptions to help you sell.
2. What information we collect
- On-device content: Photos, item details, and your catalog are created and stored by you on your device.
- Diagnostics (optional): If you choose to share feedback or crash information, it may include device and app state needed to fix issues.
3. How we use information
- To enable core features like taking photos, cataloguing items, and generating descriptions.
- To improve reliability and user experience if you choose to send diagnostic information.
4. Data storage and processing
Local-first: All your item data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate our own backend that stores your catalog.
Future cloud services: In the future, we may introduce optional cloud features using trusted third parties (for example, Google Firebase). If we do, we will update this policy and clearly explain what is sent, how it is used, and how you can opt out.
5. Sharing and selling of data
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your catalog or photos with advertisers.
- We may use trusted service providers (e.g., for analytics or AI features) strictly to provide functionality you use, under appropriate safeguards.
6. Permissions
BazarAI may request device permissions such as camera and storage to let you capture and manage your items. You can control these in your device settings.
7. Children’s privacy
BazarAI is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can address it.
8. Your choices
- You can delete your data at any time by removing items in the app or uninstalling the app (which removes locally stored data).
- You can decline optional permissions and features that rely on them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as we add features or improve the app. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
10. Contact
If you have questions about privacy, please reach out via the app store listing or the project’s repository issue tracker.
